Whether in money terms or performance our drive is to offer you the best solution you can invest in. The simple facts are these:
In your farm, what will be the ratio of growing space per metre of the total space? A ratio should be around 2:1 for a standard plant factory. V-Farm is over 4:1!

COMPETITOR FARM
V-FARM
Growing in standard building conditions with eve height of up to 4m or multi floor buildings means that people will be standing mostly on ground. This makes labour cheaper as there is less time wasted on lifts and it’s easier to spot issues. This sort of installation also carries a lot lower risk of HSE/OSHA issues than huge warehouse installations. All of our systems are IP67, all food grade and jet washable for easy wash downs between crops.
Energy will be one of the biggest ongoing costs to your vertical farm business. Reducing energy costs will therefore make your business potentially more profitable. In V-Farm systems, closing up the racks together utilises light efficiency better leading to less power needs. Due to our moving tray system we can also add different lights at different stages giving flexibility leading to power savings.
Agriculture and Horticulture need to start using a lot less water in future - that may well be one of the factors that attracted you to vertical farming in the first place! Due to our unique moving flood method and take off we can get more levels in a given area. Competitors use large tanks under the crops to irrigate where as we don’t need to.
